Is the entire North Downs Way shown on the map?

The map above shows the Canterbury Loop variation of the North Downs Way. We’re in the process of updating the map to also feature the southern route via Folkstone.

Are there public transport links along the route?

Yes, many sections of the North Downs Way are accessible by train or bus, making it easy to walk it in parts.

Do I need a permit to walk the North Downs Way?

No permits are required. The trail is open to the public year-round, though weather and trail conditions may affect accessibility.
